To begin, I would like to say that you can repair your credit score yourself. I have done it, many people have done it, but if you have more time than money, or do not feel like trying to get a credit score, go for it and prefer to trust a professional, I will tell you that is a good option. . Trying to fix your credit score is not something everyone is comfortable doing. So, instead of looking for alternatives, they simply give up. That's a bad idea. If you have a poor credit score, you really need to keep moving forward to try to repair your credit. That means that if you need to hire a credit repair company, then that is what you need to do.
So, let's say you have bad credit and are looking to hire a credit repair agency, what should I look for? To start, you should look for an agency that knows your credit repair law and how to repair your credit properly instead of making things worse. Honestly, the best way to do this is to get a list of credit repair agencies and do your own research to see who can do the best job to clean up your credit. If you do a quick search on Google, you can get a short list of credit repair agencies that you can check out.
Before going any further, I would like to tell you my personal feelings and experience with the credit repair companies; most of them are a sham. I am more a do it yourself type and after reading many of the reviews and complaints that you see on the internet, there is no way I would have used or recommended one before. I said this to Mike, a co-worker I've known for years. He was looking for credit repair options because he had just solved an ugly divorce a few years before (his ex-wife deliberately destroyed his credit file after separating) and was about to remarry. He was looking for some kind of quick credit repair and we talked about my experiences and reviewed some of his options. I told him that he was not excited about what he had read about the credit repair agencies and that he should analyze his own credit report.
